We only need a handful of good ingredients for this delicious baking recipe:
Apple
We use some finely grated apples with peel. If you like, you can also use unsweetened applesauce or a baby jar with fruit.
Quark
Low-fat quark is well suited for baking for the dog because edible quark contains a little more fat. If you only have quark, you can still use it as an exception if nothing else speaks against it.
Oatmeal
Instead of conventional flour, we use finely ground oat flakes in this recipe. So you need a blender or a food processor in which you can crush melt-in-the-mouth oatmeal.
Honey
A little honey is perfectly fine in dog treats. We only feed dog snacks in moderation anyway.
