How They Work

Your dog’s first day is a free ‘get to know you’ day. He, or she, will be picked up separate from the other dogs and brought to our facility to check it out before the group arrives. They are then introduced to one dog at a time to ease them into it and see how they get along with our dogs. If they adjust well, they are kept in the group for the duration, then get to ride home in the van with the rest of the dogs. If we have two groups that day, they will stay for both so they can meet those dogs as well.

After that first day, your dog will be picked up with the other dogs in their group. (Groups are based on location and temperament.) The pickup route runs from about 1 hour to 1 hour and 45 minutes from the time the van leaves our place, to the time it returns. When they get to our facility, the van pulls inside to ensure the dogs can’t get loose as they’re getting out of the vehicle. We then bring them directly to the outdoor play area so they can do their business. (If we’re having two groups that day, the van would leave to pick up the next group.) We then bring them inside to our large play area where they play for at least an hour before returning home (it could be longer than an hour based on the route for the second group). The return trip is also typically between 1 hour and 1 hour and 45 minutes. We have one or two groups per day. They always have access to fresh water during play, and are brought outside to go to the bathroom right before heading home. Typically your dog will be out of the house between 2 and 3.5 hours depending on the number and location of the dogs signed up that day, between 15 and 45 minutes each way is transportation, depending on where they are in the route.

In order to keep the groups small (usually between 8 to 12 each group), we do not allow owner drop-offs. You are, however, welcome to a tour outside of group times so as to not disrupt their play or scare those that have a fear of new people.

Discounts for multiple dogs in one household joining group together, as well as if you’d like your dog to be in two groups in one day (depending on our schedule).
